1. Students of the International Relations department, who are students in the Preparatory Class, will not take this exam.

2. Students who are newly registered in this academic year in associate and undergraduate programs whose language of instruction is Turkish can take this exam. Taking the exam is not compulsory. Those who take the exam and score 60 and above are exempt from the Common Compulsory Foreign Language I course given in the Fall semester and the Common Compulsory Foreign Language II course given in the Spring semester.

3. Students who will take the exam will be present at the School of Foreign Languages at the latest 20 minutes before the exam with their University Registration Document and Turkish Republic Identity Card / Identity Card, and Foreign Students along with a valid ID card or passport with a valid duration will be placed in the classrooms by the officials. Students with missing documents will not be admitted to the exam.

General Information About the Exam

1. The students are expected to be at the exam place 20 mins before the exam. 

2. The exam classes will be announced at the entrance of the School of Foreign Languages on the exam day. Furthermore, the officials will be there to give further info. 

3. Students will take a 50 questions-exam and the exam will take 60 mins. 

4. Students are expected to turn off their mobile phones, otherwise, they will be reported as cheating in the 

5. Latecomers will be admitted to the exam in the first 10 minutes of the exam. However, these students will not given be any additional time. Students arriving after 10 minutes will not be admitted to the exam. Students will not be allowed to leave the exam even if they complete their exam within the first 20 minutes of the exam.

6. Students must obey all warnings of the officials.
