Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Senate, at Senate meeting dated 06.09.2021 and numbered 2021/9, took the following decisions regarding the administration of education in associate, undergraduate, and graduate programs in the Fall Term of the 2021-2022 Academic Year;

  1. In the fall semester of the 2021-2022 academic year, the theoretical and practical training of the associate, undergraduate, and graduate programs will be administered face-to-face, and the training will be carried out alternately or by dividing into smaller groups, considering the number of students, classroom capacities and COVID-19 measures based on the Practical Guidelines to Education and Training Processes During the Global Epidemic;
  2. In the courses which will be conducted face-to-face, the number of class sections can be increased or decreased due to force majeure, the course duration might be a minimum of 30 minutes for each course period, and the relevant academic unit administrators will decide on the application on this subject;
  3. In programs where the entire curriculum cannot be conducted face-to-face, distance education might be done up to 40%, including the 3+1 courses (Turkish Language, Atatürk's Principles and History of Turkish Revolution, English + an additional course), the duration of the distance courses is a minimum of 30 minutes for each course period, the relevant academic unit administrators will decide on the distance courses;
  4. Based on the course of the pandemic, the courses planned to be held face-to-face might be re-evaluated by the academic unit managers and might be carried out through distance education methods when necessary;
  5. All exams will be held face-to-face, but if necessary, the procedures and principles of exams might be re-evaluated according to the course of the pandemic;
  6. In order to participate in the face-to-face instruction, students must present their vaccination card, a negative resulted PCR test which was applied no more than 72 hours before, and the HES code;
  7. It will be acted in accordance with the procedures and principles determined within the scope of the Practical Guidelines to Education and Training Processes During the Global Epidemic published by the Council of Higher Education and the decisions taken by the KAEÜ KOV-KOM commission in all open and closed areas of our university;
  8. It is necessary for all of our academic and administrative staff and students to complete their vaccinations, to be able to sustain education term with health and safety, to reduce risks, and not to be interrupted. Concordantly, it has been decided our members and the public to be announced that our University strongly supports vaccination programs as well as mask, distance, and hygiene practices.
