Kırşehir Ahi Evran University continues its education-oriented official contacts in the Balkans across a wide spectrum as part of its internationalization vision. The University Promotion Days events, held as the main focus within the scope of the Kosovo program, strengthened the academic bridges between local students and Turkish higher education institutions, while the high-level diplomatic and institutional visits carried out by the delegation gained a new momentum for the cooperation processes.

Kosovar students showed great interest in the Kırşehir Ahi Evran University stand, which was set up as part of the University Promotion Days organized to increase the higher education potential in the region and directly convey the university's educational opportunities. At the stand, which was enthusiastically visited by numerous students aiming to study in Türkiye, information regarding the university's educational facilities, academic infrastructure, accommodation options, and achievements in agricultural and geothermal specialization was shared. Attended by Kosovar youth shaping their futures as well as high-level protocol members from the region, the event also saw visits to the stand by Fatih Topçu, the Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Prizren; Mehmet Nedim Aslan, the Kosovo Country Representative and General Director of the Turkish Maarif Foundation (TMV); and Ramazan Yılmaz, the Kosovo Coordinator of the Yunus Emre Institute.

As part of the program, the Anatolian Universities Union (AÜB) delegation carried out key official receptions and institutional visits to strengthen diplomatic and cultural ties in the region. In this regard, the delegation first visited Sabri Tunç Angılı, the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Pristina, at his office to share the strategic goals and educational vision of the union's member universities in the Balkans.

Subsequently, the Anatolian Universities Union delegation visited Fatih Topçu, the Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Prizren, where they exchanged views on matters such as education and training activities, as well as projects that will contribute to regional development.

In addition to diplomatic contacts, the delegation visited the Kosovo Yunus Emre Institute to examine cultural diplomacy activities in the region on-site, holding productive consultations with Coordinator Ramazan Yılmaz on potential joint projects and Turkish language education activities.

In the remainder of the event program, a delegation visit was paid to the Kosovo Prizren Maarif School to reflect the institutional solidarity and the culture of joint action within the union onto the field. Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil was accompanied by the Term President of the Anatolian Universities Union and Rector of Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Prof. Dr. Fatih Yılmaz, Rector of Amasya University Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hakkı Turabi, KAEU International Relations Office Coordinator Asst. Prof. Dr. Mahmut Sarı, and Assistant Coordinator of the International Relations Office Lecturer Musa Talha Altun. During the meeting with İbrahim Bucak, the Principal of Prizren Maarif School, strategic cooperation processes were evaluated regarding the intense interest and reflections shown by students during the promotion days, access to quality education for youth in the region, and the integration of Maarif Schools graduates into higher education processes in Türkiye.

Making institutional evaluations regarding the importance of the Kosovo contacts, diplomatic receptions, and the University Promotion Days program, Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil emphasized that a strong synergy has been achieved in the Balkans within the body of the Anatolian Universities Union. Stating that the intense interest and enthusiasm shown by the Kosovar students who visited the stand during the promotion days was gratifying, Rector Karahocagil expressed that Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, together with the union's member universities, remains resolutely committed to guiding the academic futures of youth in their cultural heartland and providing them with higher education opportunities at the highest level.
