The Ahi Children's Festival, organized under the body of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University's Ahi Children's University, was held on May 21, 2026, at the July 15 National Will Hall. Aiming to raise the heroes of the future starting from today, the festival hosted a meaningful program filled with art, music, and cultural events.
The festival began with a moment of silence and the singing of the National Anthem. Following this, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Okan Kuzu, Director of the Ahi Children's University, delivered the opening speech. In his speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Okan Kuzu touched upon the importance of supporting children socially, culturally, and artistically in addition to their academic development, stating that the Ahi Children's University aims to contribute to the versatile development of children.
Following the speech by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Okan Kuzu, Musa Sargın, the Principal of 30 Ağustos Zafer Primary School, took the floor. In his speech, Musa Sargın stated that introducing children to science, art, and culture at an early age contributes to raising conscious individuals of the future, and he thanked those who contributed to the organization of the event.
Taking the floor after Musa Sargın, Fatih Güzel, the Acting Principal of Ahi Evran Primary School, drew attention to the importance of social events where children can gain self-confidence, stating that university-school cooperation provides significant contributions to children's development.
As part of the program, the Ahi Children's University Polyphonic Choir gave a concert. Following the concert, performances prepared by the students of Ahi Evran Primary School, the Preschool Smurfs Class of 30 Ağustos Zafer Primary School, and the Preschool Bees Class of 30 Ağustos Zafer Primary School were staged.
The event also featured social awareness activities, such as the Celiac Week Awareness Show. The program, which witnessed colorful moments, concluded following a group photo session.
