Kırşehir Ahi Evran University has conducted a series of official visits and academic collaborations in the Balkans, aiming to strengthen its global education network and implement its internationalization goals. Led by Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil, the university delegation met with official institutions in Kosovo and laid the groundwork for future partnerships with the region's well-established higher education institutions. As part of the Balkan meetings, the delegation first paid an official visit to TIKA Pristina Program Coordinator Fulya Aslan to strengthen institutional cooperation. During the meeting—where the university's international vision, potential strategic partnerships in the region, and global education projects were discussed in detail—Rector Karahocagil was accompanied by Dr. Mahmut Sarı, Coordinator of the International Relations Office, and Education Counselor Veysel Erdel.

Another important stop of the Balkan program was the University of Pristina, one of Kosovo's most well-established educational institutions. During the bilateral meeting held at the rectorate level, a full consensus was reached on cooperation between the two institutions in strategic areas. As a result of the discussions, it was agreed to take joint steps on expanding student and academic staff mobility within the scope of Erasmus+, transferring our university’s pioneering experience in its leading fields of pilot agriculture and geothermal energy across borders into joint R&D and development projects, and mutually sharing experiences in higher education quality assurance systems and institutional management.

Evaluating the Balkan program, Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil emphasized that Kırşehir Ahi Evran University is moving forward determinedly toward becoming an institution that generates knowledge and experience not only on a regional scale but also on a global level. Stating that these visits hold historical importance for enhancing quality in education, carrying specialization achievements to the international arena, and building new academic bridges, Rector Karahocagil thanked all stakeholders in Kosovo for their hospitality and cooperation.
