The 3rd Cacabey Science and Culture Festival, organized annually by Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, was held with high participation. The festival took place at Cacabey Square from May 15 to May 16, 2026, and attracted many visitors. The event opened with a ceremony attended by Deputy Minister of Interior Bülent Turan, Governor of Kırşehir Murat Sefa Demiryürek, Kırşehir Deputy Necmettin Erkan, Kırşehir Chief Public Prosecutor Oğuz Şükrü Ener, and President of the Kırşehir Administrative Court Mehmet Ali Gürer. University Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil also attended, alongside Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Rector and AÜB Term President Prof. Dr. Fatih Yılmaz, rectors and vice-rectors from Anadolu Universities Union (AÜB) member universities, local officials, public institution directors, NGO representatives, academic and administrative staff, students, citizens, and members of the press. Visitors showed great interest in the numerous stands set up throughout the festival.

The highly attended 3rd Cacabey Science and Culture Festival featured booths from both university departments and local institutions. Each participant welcomed visitors and showcased their ongoing projects and activities.

Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil, and the accompanying delegation participated in the activities at the booths on both days of the event. While speaking with the coordinators at the booths, Rector Karahocagil noted that such events are meaningful opportunities to share the university's scientific contributions with the city.
