Organized by Kırşehir Ahi Evran University in collaboration with the Directorate of Health, Culture, and Sports and the Faculty of Sports Sciences as part of our university’s 20th-anniversary celebrations, the “20th Anniversary Sports Tournaments” began with volleyball matches. Held on May 11, 2026 at the Sports Hall of our university’s Faculty of Sports Sciences, the tournament drew significant interest from our academic and administrative staff as well as our students.

Aiming to promote unity, solidarity and sporting cooperation within the university, the tournaments featured volleyball matches that were both exciting and fiercely contested. The competitions between student and staff teams were marked by sportsmanlike competition.

In the coming days, matches will also be held in futsal, 3x3 basketball, table tennis, and chess as part of the tournaments. At the end of the tournaments, various awards will be presented to the top-performing teams and athletes.
