As Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, we are deeply saddened by the loss of our department head—an experienced figure in the university’s administrative and financial affairs and a valued leader—who passed away following a heart attack at his workplace, where he was deeply dedicated to his duties. Today, those who loved him gathered in his now-empty office to remember him with prayers. At the memorial service organized by the Rector’s Office, the university administration, along with all academic and administrative staff, came together to honor his memory.

Our esteemed Department Head, Osman Savaş Çetiner, who has served in administrative and managerial roles across various departments of our university for many years, was like an older brother who shared in the concerns of his staff and rejoiced in their joys. Speaking at the program, Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil highlighted the importance of our esteemed Head to Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, emphasizing that he was a kind-hearted, calm, and courteous administrator. Rector Karahocagil also noted that they were deeply shocked by his sudden passing, stating that he was an exemplary and good person in every way. Rector Karahocagil noted that our esteemed Head Çetiner had contributed greatly to the development of our university and stated that they would do everything in their power to keep his name alive and ensure he is never forgotten.

Afterward, the university administration and all colleagues placed roses on the desk of our esteemed Department Head Osman Savaş Çetiner, and prayed for him.
