On March 23, 2026, Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil met with academic and administrative staff during an Eid al-Fitr greeting program. The event was attended by Vice-Rectors Prof. Dr. Musa Özata, Prof. Dr. Ali Güneş, and Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Şimşek, alongside Secretary General Asst. Prof. Dr. Hüseyin İlter. Deans, vice-deans, and a large number of university personnel also participated in the gathering to celebrate the holiday.

In his speech, Rector Karahocagil emphasized that the holiday strengthens feelings of unity, togetherness, and solidarity. He congratulated all staff members on Eid and expressed his hope that the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan would continue throughout the year. Touching upon the 20th anniversary of the university, Karahocagil highlighted the importance of acting in accordance with Ahi values. He stated that more qualified work must be produced under the vision of a "Journey to Excellence" and invited all personnel to contribute to this process. The program concluded with Rector Karahocagil personally greeting the staff and sharing well wishes for the holiday.
