The Math Festival, organized to introduce different aspects of mathematics and raise awareness among students at Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, was held with high attendance. Organized in cooperation with the Faculty of Education’s Mathematics Education Department, the Faculty of Arts and Sciences’ Mathematics Department, and the Ahi Children's University, the event spanned two days from March 11–12, 2026.
At the festival, which began on March 11 at the Faculty of Education, numerous activities, materials, and applications demonstrating the relationship between mathematics and daily life were presented to visitors. Mathematical games, experimental applications, visual materials, and interactive activities prepared by students garnered great interest. The second day of the festival took place at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences; throughout the event, university students, academics, and participants from various age groups had the opportunity to experience the fun and exploratory side of mathematics. Participants actively engaged in various activities while examining applications that support mathematical thinking.
The Math Festival highlighted that mathematics is not just a theoretical discipline but is embedded in many areas of daily life through games, design, exploration, and problem-solving processes. The event concluded successfully, showcasing the students' work and drawing significant interest from the participants.
