Providing detailed information regarding the history and location of Jerusalem, Prof. Dr. Karahocagil noted that the city is considered sacred not only for Muslims but also for Christians and Jews. Emphasizing that Jerusalem has faced constant attempts at occupation throughout the centuries, the Rector continued: "Jerusalem is divided into East and West.
