Kırşehir Ahi Evran University presented its Integrated Quality Management System (IQMS) to a delegation from Mersin University. The presentation meeting held on January 19, 2026 in the General Secretariat Meeting Hall, and was attended by Quality Coordinator Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Şimşek, Quality Coordinator Assistants Ekrem Öztürk and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hamza Yakar, Mersin University Institutional Development and Accreditation Coordinator Prof. Dr. Nüzhet İkbal Türker, Coordinator Assistant Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ömer Faruk İslim, Information Processing Department Head Prof. Dr. Erdinç Avaroğlu, Data Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Çiğdem Acı, Strategy Development Department Head Arif Polat, and Branch Manager Mustafa Erişli.

Prior to the meeting, Mersin University Rector Prof. Dr. Erol Yaşar and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet İsmail Yağcı visited Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil at his office and exchanged views on inter-university cooperation, quality assurance efforts, and models of good practice.

Following the visit, the BKYS Presentation Meeting commenced. At the meeting, Vice Rector and Quality Management Coordinator Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Şimşek introduced Quality Assurance System and provided explanations regarding the institutional structure, practices, and ongoing work related to quality management.

During the promotional meeting, Assistant Quality Management Coordinator Ekrem Öztürk gave a detailed presentation on the Integrated Quality Management System (IQMS) and provided information on applications related to strategic planning, process management, activity plans, document management, and the tracking of risks and opportunities.

During the meeting, Assistant Quality Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hamza Yakar discussed quality management processes, performance indicators, and continuous improvement efforts. He provided information about our university's Ahi Competency-Based Education Model Portal (AYDEP) and shared details about the ISO standards and EFQM Model initiatives currently being implemented at our university with the visiting delegation. The introductory meeting concluded after mutual evaluations, sharing of best practices, and answering participants' questions.
