Accelerating its R&D activities, Kırşehir Ahi Evran University continues to strengthen its partnerships in this context. Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil visited President of the Konya Plain Project (KOP) Regional Development Administration Dr. Murat Karakoyunlu. During the visit on January 20, 2026, Rector Karahocagil was accompanied by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Güneş.

The Rector of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil stated that they will combine the university's 20 years of academic expertise and extensive experience with industrial and development goals to shape their future objectives. He provided comprehensive information about the university's workshop reports and projects focused on regional development. During the meeting, Rector Karahocagil emphasized that KOP's support is very important to them and thanked KOP Regional Development Administration President Dr. Murat Karakoyunlu and his team for their hospitality and constructive approach.

Noting that Kırşehir Ahi Evran University has undertaken important projects for the development of its region and province, KOP Regional Development Administration President Dr. Murat Karakoyunlu said they would continue to support the university's projects.
