Kırşehir Governor Murat Sefa Demiryürek and Kırşehir Deputy Necmettin Erkan visited Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil. During the visit, which took place at the rector's office on January 19, 2026, Rector Karahocagil gave a presentation on the future vision, current work, strategic goals, and physical condition of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University. During the meeting held in the Rectorate Meeting Hall, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil was accompanied by Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Musa Özata, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Şimşek, and Prof. Dr. Ali Güneş, as well as Secretary General Dr. Hüseyin İlter.

In his presentation, Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil said that Kırşehir Ahi Evran University is not only known for its academic and scientific achievements, but also as a university that produces projects that will develop its province and region. Noting that all pilot university projects have been implemented, Rector Karahocagil stated that, in addition to projects in the fields of agriculture and geothermal energy, our province will also become a center of attraction in terms of health tourism. Always emphasizing that Kırşehir Ahi Evran University is a role model in quality work, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil added that they see quality as an Ahi movement and want to realize our university's future vision by combining Ahi values with modern science. Explaining that our university's work is not limited to our country's borders but has also been carried to international platforms, Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil stated that they attach great importance to international cooperation. Explaining that the academic and scientific studies of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University will be crowned with technological infrastructure, Rector Karahocagil also stated that our university will soon be declared a Technology Development Zone (Technopark) and that they are continuing their work in this context.

Following the presentation, Kırşehir Governor Murat Sefa Demiryürek and Kırşehir Deputy Necmettin Erkan stated that they closely follow the work of Kırşehir Ahi Eran University and said that it is one of the most important educational institutions in the city. Governor Demiryürek and Deputy Erkan also noted that the projects carried out by our university play an active role in the development of our province and region, and stated that they will continue to provide all kinds of support for the future goals of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University.

Expressing his gratitude with their visit, Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil thanked Kırşehir Governor Murat Sefa Demiryürek and Kırşehir Deputy Necmettin Erkan for their support in making Kırşehir Ahi Evran University a Technology Development Zone (Technopark).
