Rector Karahocagil also stated that all academic and administrative units of our university completed their internal audits in December, prepared their own Management Review Reports, and submitted them to the unit quality commissions, pointing out that these reports are part of the internal quality assurance approach. Beginning his presentation by referring to the preparation process of the report, Şimşek stated that the YGG Report is a critical management tool in terms of the institution's self-awareness and recognition of its strengths and areas for improvement. Describing the YGG as “the mirror of the institution,” Şimşek emphasized that the report is not only a retrospective evaluation but also a strategic document that informs future decision-making processes.

The presentation covered in detail the important decisions taken and implemented in 2025. In this context, it was shared how new policies were determined in certain areas and how changes in the university's internal and external environment were reflected in the decision-making processes. In addition, comprehensive information was provided to the committee members about institutional performance indicators, irregularities, and the improvement activities carried out to address them.

During the meeting, the results of the satisfaction and perception surveys, feedback submitted to the university and the subsequent actions taken, institution-wide monitoring and measurement activities, the status of existing resources, risk management practices, process-based performance indicators, and the outcomes derived from these indicators were evaluated in detail. The presentation emphasized that the quality assurance system is handled with a continuous improvement approach and that all such data are monitored within the framework of the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle. Furthermore, it was pointed out during the meeting that the planning for the year 2026 must be completed within the month of January.
