Kırşehir Governor Murat Sefa Demiryürek and Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil visited the ongoing construction of the Ahi Evran Diyanet Youth Center under the Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Mosque. On January 5, 2025, Governor Demiryürek and Rector Karahocagil inspected the site, accompanied by our University's General Secretary Dr. Hüseyin İlter.

Ahi Evran Diyanet Youth Center is Turkey's largest youth center. The center features a 400-person conference hall, a 120-person book cafe, one art workshop, two separate gyms for women and men, two conversation rooms, two classrooms, and one spiritual support counseling room.

Explaining the importance of the youth center for students, Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil stated that the center will benefit students not only in religious matters but also socially, culturally, athletically, and academically. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil also emphasized that the Ahi Evran Diyanet Youth Center, planned to be completed at Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, is the largest youth center in Turkey. He added that these centers aim to raise university youth as individuals who are committed to national and spiritual values, morally equipped, and socially skilled. Stating that this center on campus is an important place for every student who wants to escape the stress of their academic processes and achieve spiritual peace, our University Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil expressed his hope that the center will be completed as soon as possible and put into service for students.

Governor Murat Sefa Demiryürek of Kırşehir and Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil reviewed the center's project in detail and held consultations.
