The Career Planning Application and Research Center organized an event titled “The Employee's Roadmap: Working Conditions and Legal Rights” as part of a career course. Held on December 24, 2025, at the Ahi Evran Congress and Culture Center's July 15 National Will Hall, the event was attended by the Director of the Career Planning Application and Research Center Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emine Şener, the Director of the School of Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Ayfer Şahin, academic and administrative staff, and students.
During the event, Dr. Ömür Çetinkaya, a lecturer at the School of Social Sciences, gave a presentation titled “The Employee's Roadmap: Working Conditions and Legal Rights.” In his presentation, Çetinkaya provided information on basic legislation related to working life, the rights and obligations of employees, and current issues encountered in the workplace. Explaining the problems students may encounter in their working lives, Lecturer Dr. Ömür Çetinkaya touched upon important issues in working life and emphasized the importance of students preparing for their professional lives with conscious steps.
Director of the Career Planning Application and Research Center Associate Professor Dr. Emine Şener, highlighted the importance of career planning in students' academic and professional development in her speech and provided information about the support the center offers students in this process. Şener emphasized that students taking conscious career steps is of great importance for their future success and thanked everyone who contributed to the event.
Following the presentation, Director of the Career Planning Application and Research Center Associate Professor Dr. Emine Şener and Director of the School of Social Sciences Professor Dr. Ayfer Şahin presented a certificate of appreciation to Lecturer Dr. Ömür Çetinkaya.
