Karabük University Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Kırışık visited Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil at his office. Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Güneş and Secretary General Dr. Hüseyin İlter also attended the visit. During the meeting, the two universities discussed opportunities for cooperation in the field of social sciences and the reflection of the akhism culture in joint projects. Providing information about the Socialfest project, in which both universities are partners, Prof. Dr. Fatih Kırışık stated that this festival, which supports projects, models, and youth work produced in the field of social sciences, is Turkey's first and most comprehensive social sciences festival. Explaining Socialfest's contribution to the Turkey Century vision, Kırışık also emphasized the festival's strong connection to the values of akhism.

Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil expressed his gratitude for the visit and emphasized that the Akhism culture plays an important role in the joint efforts of the two universities. Karahocagil said, "As a city that carries the legacy of Ahi Evran-ı Veli, Kırşehir is a pioneer in the principles of social solidarity, productivity, and social responsibility. The visibility of these values in a large-scale event like Socialfest is valuable to us. The collaboration between the two universities will contribute to the emergence of strong projects for both our students and the society."

During the visit, it was also announced that Socialfest 2026 will feature competitions with a total prize pool of 6 million TL across four main categories, and that the festival has achieved impressive success in previous years, attracting 100,000 participants. It was stated that the principles of truthfulness, solidarity, and social responsibility of Ahi Evran-ı Veli nourish the fundamental spirit of Socialfest, and that the two universities agreed to pursue stronger cooperation in the fields of social sciences, youth studies, projects themed around ahilik, and the festival process.
