The Economics and Management Student Community organized an open forum event. On November 27, 2025, the open forum titled “Administrative Judiciary: The Bridge of Justice Between the State and Citizens” was held at the Neşet Ertaş Hall of the Ahi Evran Congress and Culture Center. Kırşehir Administrative Court President Mehmet Ali Gürer, Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Musa Özata, academic and administrative staff, and students attended the event.

Before the program, President of the Kırşehir Administrative Court Mehmet Ali Gürer visited Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil at his office, and they exchanged views on the general situation of the university and Kırşehir.

Following the visit, the event began with an open forum. Moderated by Prof. Dr. Oktay Kızılkaya, the open forum featured Kırşehir Administrative Court President Mehmet Ali Gürer, who provided information about administrative jurisdiction that is one of the cornerstones of public administration and the legal system. Explaining the difference between administrative and judicial courts, President Gürer said that administrative courts deal with problems between the state and citizens, while judicial courts deal with problems between citizens. Explaining that every citizen may have dealings with administrative courts throughout their life, from birth to death, Administrative Court President Mehmet Ali Gürer added that administrative courts are present in all areas of life. President Gürer also provided information to the students about the process of becoming an administrative judge, emphasizing that the judicial exam is not limited to a written test, as every candidate who passes the written exam will be interviewed. Explaining the advantages and disadvantages of the administrative judiciary profession, Administrative Court President Mehmet Ali Gürer added that the best part of the profession is delivering justice to those who deserve it and receiving their blessings.

Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil then gave a speech, stating that administrative courts touch people's lives and that the profession of administrative judge is a very important title. Rector Karahocagil explained that he himself had a case in an administrative court during his academic career, emphasizing that he won the case and that his rights were upheld, adding that administrative courts are the structure that ensures justice between the state and citizens. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil thanked everyone who contributed to organizing the program and expressed his great pleasure in hosting Mehmet Ali Gürer.

The open session program concluded with the answering of students' questions and the presentation of a plaque to the President of the Kırşehir Administrative Court Mehmet Ali Gürer by Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil.
