The first-day session of the "International Health, Sports, and Tourism Congress," a joint initiative by Kırşehir Ahi Evran University and the International Health Tourism Institute, was held in the 15 Temmuz Hall of the Ahi Evran Congress and Culture Center. The congress is scheduled to take place between November 13 and 15, 2025. The initial session on November 13, 2025, kicked off with T&R talks contributed by GlobePR. Attendees included Secretary General Dr. Hüseyin İlter, Kırşehir Youth and Sports Provincial Director Yasin Çakmakçı, as well as academic and administrative personnel and a large number of students.

Speaking at the T&R talks, Dr. Fatih Seyran, President of the International Health Tourism Institute, called attention to Kırşehir's health tourism capacity. He stressed health tourism is not limited to travel for treatment purposes alone. Dr. Seyran asserted that the city is progressing towards becoming a major hub with its cultural, economic, and social strengths. He finished by extending gratitude to all those involved in organizing the congress.

Dr. Esat Çekin, addressing the audience after the T&R talks, provided insight into Cardisio, the latest AI technology applied in the diagnosis and monitoring of cardiac diseases. He explained that the system uses "AI analysis of Vectorcardiogram (VCG) data—the 3D, longer-recorded version of the initial diagnostic ECG—to facilitate a more detailed evaluation of heart health information." Çekin said the AI is a quick and effective tool, providing results in minutes. Citing its proven advantages, Dr. Çekin stated: "It is done while the patient is at rest, requiring no strain. Moreover, it is an application that gives fast and safe results regarding heart health without using body-damaging methods like contrast material or radiation, and without any vascular entry. Thanks to artificial intelligence, more definite diagnosis and treatment follow-up are ensured."

Emre Recep Beşkardeş, speaking next in the T&R sessions, argued that individuals who approach health tourism merely as an operation sale will struggle to build a lasting success story. According to Beşkardeş, the crux of the matter is offering patients trust, comfort, and attention during one of their most delicate life moments. He emphasized that genuine health tourism is achievable solely through empathy. He wrapped up his address by highlighting the necessity of marketing and advertising health tourism.

In the final segment of the program, a panel discussion was held, moderated by Prof. Dr. Sevde Mavi Var, a faculty member from the university's Faculty of Sports Sciences. The discussion featured European, World, and Olympic champion athletes from the same faculty. Muhammet Karavuş (Wrestling), Ferhat Can Kavurat, Hakan Reçber, and Merve Dinçel Kavurat (Taekwondo), along with Sude Nur Arslan and Yoncagül Yılmaz (Boxing), answered questions from the young athletes in the hall. The champions stressed that discipline and hard work are the two most crucial motivations in an athletic career. Sharing personal examples, the champions stated that determined and disciplined effort leads to success, conducting a pleasant conversation with the audience.

The first-day program of the International Health, Sports, and Tourism Congress, held on November 13, 2025, concluded with the presentation of certificates to the participants and a souvenir photo session.
