Palestinian students studying at Kırşehir Ahi Evran University visited Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil on October 30, 2025. During the meeting, held at the rectorate, Rector Karahocagil and the students discussed the developments following the ceasefire and exchanged views on current issues. They also evaluated the process of bringing 18 Palestinian students currently in Palestine to Türkiye and the social and economic support to be provided for them. In coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kırşehir Ahi Evran University continues to make every effort to ensure that Palestinian students are not deprived of their education. The university administration is also working continuously to increase the number of Palestinian students studying at the university.

Emphasizing that Türkiye has always stood by the Palestinian people during the war in Palestine, Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil expressed his belief that Palestine will rise again, stronger than ever, following the ceasefire. He advised Palestinian students to enhance themselves academically and socially, noting that when they return to their homeland, they will take on important roles in rebuilding Palestine. Prof. Dr. Karahocagil also stated his hope to see more Palestinian students studying at the university and affirmed that the administration continues its efforts in this direction. He reiterated that both the Republic of Türkiye and Kırşehir Ahi Evran University will always stand in solidarity with Palestine and its people.
