The Education Commission and Student Affairs Department Played a Leading Role in Updating the Curriculum

Kırşehir Ahi Evran Üniversitesi has successfully completed a comprehensive curriculum update process launched in line with the Yükseköğretim Kurulu (YÖK) “Vision 2030” strategy to support quality-oriented transformation in higher education. Within the scope of the project, curricula of 95 programs — including 50 associate degree and 45 undergraduate programs — were revised. The program design was based on a competency-based approach, fully aligned with Ulusal Çekirdek Program (UÇEP) standards and the Türkiye Yeterlilikler Çerçevesi (TYÇ). In addition, credit structures were reorganized in accordance with student workload and the principles of the Avrupa Kredi Transfer Sistemi (AKTS)

The curriculum renewal process was carried out with the active involvement of department chairs, academic staff, personnel from the Student Affairs Department, and members of the Education Commission. Course content was revised to incorporate digital skills, AI, sustainability, career planning, ethics, and entrepreneurship. To acknowledge their contributions, certificates of appreciation were presented to the Education Commission members and Student Affairs personnel by Vice Rector Musa Özata. “This initiative is part of a broad transformation designed to prepare our students with the essential knowledge, skills, and competencies of the 21st century,” said Prof. Dr. Özata.

Kırşehir Ahi Evran Üniversitesi remains firmly committed to strengthening student-centered and high-quality education in line with the “Vision 2030” strategy of Yükseköğretim Kurulu (YÖK).
