Murat Yağmur, Operations Supervisor, and Umut Kahraman, Corporate Sales Specialist of Meram Elektrik Retail Sales Inc. (MEPAŞ), paid a visit to Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil. During the visit held on July 21, 2025, in the Rector’s Office, MEPAŞ representatives presented Rector Karahocagil with a YEK-G (Renewable Energy Resource Guarantee System) certificate.

Officials stated that Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, acting with a strong sense of environmental responsibility, was awarded the YEK-G (Renewable Energy Resource Guarantee System) certificate by MEPAŞ due to its shift toward renewable energy sources in its energy consumption. They noted that this certificate verifies that the university’s entire electricity consumption is supplied from renewable energy sources.

Stating that the use of eco-friendly energy is part of their ongoing efforts to leave a more livable world for future generations, Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil thanked MEPAŞ Operations Supervisor Murat Yağmur and Corporate Sales Specialist Umut Kahraman for the YEK-G Certificate.

General Secretary Dr. Hüseyin İlter also accompanied Rector Karahocagil during the visit.
