The Department of Turkish Language and Literature of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Faculty of Arts and Sciences has achieved a significant milestone by completing the accreditation process and officially certifying its quality. In this context, the Department of Turkish Language and Literature has been accredited by FEDEK (the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Faculty of Science, Arts, Science-Literature, Language, and History-Geography Programs). Following a successful evaluation, the department gained unconditional accreditation for a period of five years, from May 28, 2025, to September 30, 2030. This accreditation confirms that the educational standards of the department meet nationally and internationally recognized criteria.

As part of the evaluation process carried out by FEDEK, the academic programs, teaching methods, student-centered approaches, faculty qualifications, scientific research activities, physical and technological infrastructure, assessment and evaluation processes, internship and alumni tracking systems, as well as quality assurance mechanisms of the Department of Turkish Language and Literature of KAEU Faculty of Arts and Sciences were thoroughly examined. As a result of these comprehensive evaluations, the Department successfully met the required standards and was awarded a 5-year full accreditation certificate by FEDEK.
