Kırşehir Ahi Evran University made a significant contribution to its internationalization process in higher education by participating in the Erasmus Congress and Exhibition (ERACON) 2025, held in Thessaloniki, Greece, between June 24–28, 2025. KAEU was represented at the event by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Musa Özata, Coordinator of the Office of International Relations Instr. Yusuf İslam Sürücü, and Deputy Coordinator Instr. Musa Talha Altun.

Actively participating in the sessions and panels held throughout the event, the KAEU delegation conducted bilateral cooperation meetings with representatives from numerous universities from both European and non-European countries. ERACON is a prestigious platform that brings together Erasmus coordinators and international relations experts from universities across Europe. The conference provides a setting for the exchange of knowledge and experience on topics such as student and staff mobility under Erasmus+ programs, strategic partnerships, and quality-based international collaborations in higher education.

By participating in this significant event, KAEU aims to strengthen its existing Erasmus+ partnerships and create new cooperation opportunities. Throughout the event, the institutional vision and academic potential of KAEU were introduced, and concrete steps were taken, particularly for student exchange programs and joint projects. Kırşehir Ahi Evran University remains committed to actively participating in such events and to further enhancing global academic collaborations.
