Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, recognized as a role model in Türkiye’s higher education system for its successful quality initiatives, introduced its locally developed Integrated Quality Management System (IQMS) to Nişantaşı University. The training program took place on June 20, 2025, at Nişantaşı University and was attended by Rector of Nişantaşı University Prof. Dr. Ayşegül Ş. Komşuoğlu, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Uğur Yozgat, Vice-Rector and Quality Management Coordinator of KAEU Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Şimşek, Deputy Quality Coordinator Ekrem Öztürk, IQMS Executive Board Member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih Yaman, as well as the Nişantaşı University Quality and Governance Coordination team, academic and administrative unit heads, and department chairs.

In the training program, the basic functions of IQMS were presented to the participants with practical examples by Vice Rector and Quality Management Coordinator of KAEU Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Şimşek, Deputy Quality Coordinator Ekrem Öztürk, and IQMS Executive Board Member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih Yaman. Additionally, the training provided information on topics such as the contribution of IQMS to digital quality management processes, its alignment with THEQC, ISO 9001, and EFQM models, its user-friendly interface and role-based access system, and its integration into internal audit, strategic plan monitoring, and continuous improvement cycles.

The officials of Nişantaşı University, stating that IQMS would make a significant contribution to digitalization processes, emphasized their determination regarding the active use of the system.

IQMS is an integrated software system developed by Kırşehir Ahi Evran University that aims to digitize quality assurance processes. Now actively used in 20 universities, IQMS also has the potential to serve as a model for public institutions and the private sector.
