Deputy of Kırşehir Necmettin Erkan visited KAEU. The vi sit, which took place on June 13, 2025, began with a visit to Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil. During the visit, the physical structure and general condition of KAEU were discussed, and Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Musa Özata and Prof. Dr. Ali Güneş also accompanied Rector Karahocagil.
Following the visit, Deputy of Kırşehir Necmettin Erkan conducted on-site examinations with Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil at KAEU. Deputy Necmettin Erkan examined the Aromatic Plants Garden, which makes a significant contribution to the healthcare sector. Prof. Dr. Selahattin Çınar, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Asst. Prof. Dr. Emine Bilginoğlu, a faculty member at the Faculty of Agriculture and the project coordinator, gave information to the visiting team about the project. It was noted that the cultivation of aromatic plants, which are widely used in fields ranging from healthcare to cosmetics, greatly contributes both to the development of our university and the advancement of Kırşehir.
Continuing his visit to KAEU, Deputy Necmettin Erkan also toured the construction sites of the Faculty of Health Sciences and the Cacabey Science Center, receiving information from the officials. It was stated that the establishment of the Faculty of Health Sciences would not only strengthen the academic infrastructure of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, but that the Cacabey Science Center would also enhance the university’s contribution to scientific research.
After examining the projects on-site, Deputy of Kırşehir Necmettin Erkan stated that the projects of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University were impressive and emphasized that the university significantly contributed to the region through its initiatives. He noted that valuable structures have been added to the university through its physical growth and affirmed that his support for Kırşehir Ahi Evran University would continue.
Following, Deputy of Kırşehir Necmettin Erkan met with KAEU students at the Fütüvvet Hall in the Central Library. During his conversation with the students, he remarked, “You are our future,” expressing that they greatly value the students and will always stand by them.
