The II. Cacabey Science Festival, traditionally organized by Kırşehir Ahi Evran University to revive the scientific heritage rooted in Kırşehir and endearing science to children and young people—the guarantee of our future—concluded with an enthusiastic closing ceremony. Held on May 27–28, 2025, at Cacabey Square, the festival was packed with various engaging activities. It was supported by the Kırşehir Governorship, Provincial Police Department, Provincial Gendarmerie Command, Provincial Directorate of National Education, Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports, Provincial Directorate of Industry and Technology, and Provincial Directorate of Health. In addition, PETLAS, MEPAŞ, American Life, Badem Pınarı, Özgirişim Group Enfes Bakliyat, and Tutku Gıda contributed to the event as sponsors.

The first day of the festival began with a concert by the Kırşehir Provincial Directorate of National Education Children’s Choir, followed by protocol members visiting the various stands. After the visits, several activities took place in the event tents located in the festival area, offering participants a variety of experiences. These included: "Encrypted Words Game, Accessible Toys and Painting Exhibition, Deneyap Workshop Exhibition, Journey into the World of Living Beings, Ebru (Marbling) Workshop, Empathy Station – Prosthesis System Introduction, Growing Up Healthy, Learning Through Fun, Personal DNA Necklace Making, and Basic First Aid Techniques Training. At the end of the day, the Kırşehir Provincial Directorate of National Education Maarif Choir gave a concert.

On the second day of the festival, the Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil, along with his accompanying delegation, visited the event booths and participated in various activities with the visitors. Activities on the second day included the "Occupational Therapy Materials Exhibition, Altruism Stop, Ahi Children, Expressive Art Therapy Activities, Painting Exhibition, Ebru-Painting Workshop, Ceramic and Glass Painting Workshop, A Coffee, A Thousand Ideas: Write Your Dreams, and the Bomb Disposal Team Demonstration." Throughout the day and at the end of the day, the Faculty of Fine Arts Neşet Ertaş of KAEU presented a Sufi Music and Turkish Folk Music Concert, as well as a Popular Music Performance. The 2nd Cacabey Science Festival, which was thoroughly enjoyed by both participants and visitors, was filled with a variety of activities across 75 different booths.

Following the festival, the Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil emphasized that science and technology have become an inseparable part of our lives and expressed their ongoing support for such events and activities. “We want to instill in our youth the same curiosity for science once shown by Cacabey, the founder of the Astronomy Center that emerged on these very lands centuries ago,” said Rector Karahocagil. He added that they will continue to work, research, and produce under the motto “In the Footsteps of Ahilik: Science, Art, and Ethics,” carrying out these activities within the framework of Ahi-Order values and skills. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil thanked everyone who contributed to the organization of the 2nd Cacabey Science Festival and expressed his hope that the event successfully achieved its purpose.

At the conclusion of the 2nd Cacabey Science Festival, the Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil presented certificates of appreciation to the representatives of the sponsoring organizations: PETLAS, MEPAŞ, American Life, Badem Pınarı, and Özgirişim Group Enfes Bakliyat and Tutku Gıda. The 2nd Cacabey Science Festival came to an end following a group commemorative photo.
