Before the information meeting, KOP President Dr. Murat Karakoyunlu, Director General of Sectors and Public Investments Faruk Cirit, and their accompanying delegation visited  Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil in his office. During the visit, views were exchanged on the general status of the university and the Hydrogen Heating System Solar Energy Hydro-Greenhouse Pilot Application Project.

Following the official visit, the Information Meeting on the Hydrogen Heating System Solar Energy Hydro-Greenhouse Pilot Application Project was held in the Senate Hall. In his opening speech, Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil thanked all those who supported the implementation of such a valuable project and stated that the Hydrogen Heating System Solar Energy Hydro-Greenhouse Pilot Application Project marked a significant achievement for the university in the field of greenhouse cultivation. Wishing the meeting to be productive, Rector Karahocagil expressed his gratitude to everyone who contributed to the meeting and the project.

Faruk Cirit, Director General of Sectors and Public Investments at the Presidency of Strategy and Budget, then took the floor and emphasized that they are actively involved in many projects across various sectors, and noted the importance of seeing the projects on site. He stated that the Hydrogen Heating System Solar Energy Hydro-Greenhouse Pilot Application Project of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University is a significant initiative for both our country and the region. Cirit continued his speech as follows: “I hope this project yields beneficial results for our country and our region. In fact, we are in great need of such new technologies. In terms of reducing our dependence on external sources and fulfilling our future commitments, I sincerely hope that the work carried out here brings fruitful outcomes.” Wishing for a successful meeting, Director General Faruk Cirit added that they try to support every project that can benefit our country as much as they can.

Following this, KOP President Dr. Murat Karakoyunlu delivered a speech. In his address, Karakoyunlu emphasized the importance of the Hydrogen Heating System Solar Energy Hydro-Greenhouse Pilot Application Project and stated that KOP will continue to support projects they believe will benefit the country.

After the opening speeches, Fikret Özçelik, Chairman of the Board of UTET R&D Energy Hydrogen Machinery Ltd., gave an informational presentation on the Hydrogen Heating System Solar Energy Hydrogreenhouse Pilot Application Project. In his presentation, Özçelik discussed the transformation of global energy resources and highlighted that hydrogen has become a viable alternative compared to other sources. He explained the features of the boiler used in the university’s Hydrogen Heating System Solar Energy Hydrogreenhouse Pilot Application Project, noting that it is entirely domestically and nationally produced. Özçelik also touched upon the areas in which hydrogen energy is being utilized.

Later, the Project Coordinator, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hakan Başak from KAEU Faculty of Agriculture, gave a presentation. In his presentation, Başak provided information about KAEU R&D greenhouse.

After the Information Meeting on the Hydrogen Heating System Solar Energy Hydro-Greenhouse Pilot Application Project, the participants visited the  R&D greenhouse, where the ongoing project was evaluated on-site.
