On May 22, 2025, Governor of Kırşehir Murat Sefa Demiryürek visited Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil. During the visit took place on May 22, 2025, they discussed the general status and ongoing projects of both the city and the university. Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Güneş and Secretary General Dr. Hüseyin İlter also accompanied Rector Karahocagil during the meeting.

Governor of Kırşehir Murat Sefa Demiryürek emphasized that, beyond its scientific and academic achievements, Kırşehir Ahi Evran University also makes significant contributions to the city through its social responsibility projects. He noted that especially the university’s efforts in research and development, regionally focused development projects, and community engagement activities have positively influenced the socio-economic structure of the province. He also underlined the added value of the university’s artistic events to the cultural life of Kırşehir, expressing his confidence that bilateral cooperation between the university and local authorities would continue to strengthen. Governor Demiryürek extended his best wishes for success to Rector Karahocagil and his team.

Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil gave Governor Demiryürek information about the academic and scientific activities, physical infrastructure of KAEU. He emphasized that universities are not only educational institutions but also key actors producing projects and initiatives in integration with their surrounding cities and regions. Highlighting the university’s impactful work in the fields of health, technology, agriculture, and R&D, Rector Karahocagil expressed his satisfaction with the visit and thanked Governor Demiryürek for his interest and support.

Following the official meeting, Governor Murat Sefa Demiryürek, Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil, and accompanying officials, toured the university campus and conducted on-site examinations.
