As part of Disability Awareness Week, Kırşehir Ahi Evran University hosted a meaningful gathering. To raise awareness about Disability Week, Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil met with the university’s disabled staff members and students.

Prof. Dr. Karahocagil drew attention to the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities, reminding everyone that anyone could become disabled at any point in life. He emphasized the importance of empathy and adopting a supportive approach. Karahocagil stressed that individuals with disabilities should have equal opportunities in both social and professional life, and reaffirmed that KAEU was ready to provide all possible support on this matter.

The university’s disabled staff and students expressed their gratitude to Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil for his kindness and sensitivity.
