The Science Communication Office has been established at Kırşehir Ahi Evran University under the coordination of the Corporate Communication Office as part of a new project initiated by the Council of Higher Education (CoHE). The Science Communication Office aims to increase the visibility of universities' scientific research both nationally and internationally, while also strengthening the connection between science and society. In this context, Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil, along with his team, visited the newly established Science Communication Office. He was accompanied by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Güneş and heads of departments during the visit.

Emphasizing the importance of sharing universities’ scientific studies and projects with the public for the advancement of both universities and society, Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil stated that the newly established Science Communication Office under the Corporate Communication Coordination will reflect the vision of our university. Rector Karahocagil also expressed his belief that the Science Communication Office will contribute to the university’s internationalization efforts. He added that this office will enhance the accessibility of the university’s scientific research, activities, and projects.

Corporate Communication Coordinator Lecturer Dr. Vahit Özdemir gave information about the purpose, mission, and vision of the Science Communication Office, stating that the office has officially begun its activities. He announced that they will launch their first project, titled “Fun Electric Experiments and Robotic Coding,” on May 15, 2025, at Zahide Zehra Garring Primary School. Özdemir emphasized that the Science Communication Office aims to convey scientific research and projects to the public more clearly and understandably. Expressing his satisfaction with the visit, he thanked the Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil and his accompanying delegation for their support.
