Organized by the Association of Anatolian Universities (AÜB), the fourth of the Anatolian Universities Association Promotion Fair 2025 was held at KAEU as the Kırşehir stage of the event. The fair took place on May 13, 2025, at the Ahi Evran Congress and Culture Center Foyer Area. Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil, Deputy Governor of Kırşehir, İsmail Çetinkaya, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Musa Özata, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Şimşek, and Prof. Dr. Ali Güneş, Kırşehir Provincial Director of National Education Yusuf Yasin Gülşen, representatives from member universities of AÜB, academic and administrative staff, and prospective university students attended the event.
The Association of Anatolian Universities Promotion Fair 2025 began with opening speeches. Deputy Governor İsmail Çetinkaya took the floor and stated that the member universities of the Association of Anatolian Universities, who had come to Kırşehir, would be introducing their institutions to prospective students. “You will make your university preferences and shape your careers based on the information you receive here,” said Çetinkaya. He wished the fair to be beneficial and extended his thanks to everyone who contributed to the event.

Following, Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil delivered a speech, providing detailed information about the Association of Anatolian Universities (AÜB). He stated that the Association was established in 2020 with a small number of universities and has since rapidly expanded to include nearly 20 member institutions. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil said, “The Association of Anatolian Universities is a university union carrying out significant work in social contribution, education, research and development, university-industry cooperation, and development fields,” and emphasized that one of the most important of these activities was the organization of promotion fairs and project markets. Highlighting that this year marks the fourth edition of the promotion fair and project market, Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil continued: “We launched this year’s promotion fair of the Association of Anatolian Universities recently in Yozgat. The fair, which will promote universities in about 14 provinces, will continue in different cities until May 30.”
Rector Karahocagil: “One Can Only be Happy, Peaceful, and Successful by Doing the Work and Profession They Love”
Continuing his speech, Rector Karahocagil also addressed prospective university students, emphasizing that young people are their top priority, and explaining that these promotion fairs are organized specifically for them. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil said, “You are our most valued ones,” noting that the students are currently making important decisions about their careers and university preferences. Stressing that the program, department, and university they choose will shape their future, Rector Karahocagil continued: “One can only be happy, peaceful, and successful by doing the work and profession they love. That is why, as you are our most precious ones, we are hosting these universities here to support you in making your choices. We want you to make your decisions not based on information you find online or elsewhere, but by getting direct and accurate guidance face-to-face from authorized representatives. You are our future.” At the end of his remarks, Rector Karahocagil wished for a successful Association of Anatolian Universities Promotion Fair and thanked everyone who contributed to the event.
After the opening speeches, the protocol members cut the ribbon to officially open the Association of Anatolian Universities Promotion Fair. They then visited the stands of all participating universities, receiving detailed information from authorized representatives and engaging in conversations with prospective students.
