KAEU Healthcare Services Student Community organized a Health Sciences Career Days event.
The event was held on April 30, 2025, at the Neşet Ertaş Hall of Ahi Evran Congress and Culture Center with the participation of Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdullah Alper Ertem from Gazi University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Kudret Armağan from Kütahya Dumlupınar University, Serkan Baştuğ, Training Manager at Meddata, Nebi Ünlü, Personnel and Cashier Affairs Manager at Madalyon Hospital, Human Resources Manager and Consultant Ahu Didem Yararbaş, academic and administrative staff, and many students.
Director of KAEU Vocational School of Health Sciences, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ayşegül Turan made the opening speech of the event, and expressed that the event was organized to enlighten the professional future of the students. Wishing the panelists' experience and knowledge to be fruitful for students, Turan thanked all who contributed to the organization of the event.
Later in the event, Asst. Prof. Dr. Kudret Armağan from Kütahya Dumlupınar University delivered a speech titled “Motivation in Education and Stress Management.”, and shared insights from his five-year-long Mobile Motivation Bus Project. Explaining the methods for coping with stress and the importance of positive thinking to the students, Armağan added that motivation fosters consistency, drives individuals toward their goals, boosts productivity, and inspires action. Moreover, Asst. Prof. Dr. Armağan also engaged students in fun motivational activities, and concluded by wishing them a successful academic journey and life.
Following the speech of Asst. Prof. Dr. Kudret Armağan, a panel discussion was held, moderated by Serkan Baştuğ, Training Director at Meddata. During the session, Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdullah Alper Ertem from Gazi University discussed the academic and public sectors within healthcare, while Nebi Ünlü, Personnel and Cashier Affairs Manager at Madalyon Hospital, and Ahu Didem Yararbaş, Human Resources Manager and Consultant, focused on patient services and shared their professional experiences in the field. The speakers emphasized that career opportunities in the healthcare sector are always available, and they highlighted the advantages of working in the private sector. They also spoke about the potential for career advancement and promotion in private institutions, sharing personal insights and advice with the students.
Following the panel discussion, certificates of appreciation were presented to those who contributed to the Health Sciences Career Days event. The event concluded with a group photo session, capturing a memorable moment for all participants.
