The "Pedal Safe into the Future" Project Introduction Seminar, organized by the Traffic Registration and Inspection Branch of Kırşehir Provincial Directorate of Security was hosted by Kırşehir Ahi Evran University. Held on April 28, 2025, at the Neşet Ertaş Hall of the Ahi Evran Congress and Culture Center, the seminar was supported by the Kırşehir Governorship, Kırşehir Municipality, Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, Provincial  Directorate of Security, Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports, Provincial Directorate of National Education, Provincial Directorate of Health, the Green Crescent Kırşehir Branch, and cycling volunteers. The event was attended by numerous academic and administrative staff as well as students.

The "Pedal Safe into the Future Project" Introduction Seminar began with a presentation on “Traffic Safety” by Police Officer Rıza Güneş from the Provincial Directorate of Security. In his presentation, Güneş emphasized the goals of the project, stating that it aims to reduce traffic congestion and fuel consumption in Kırşehir, thereby minimizing environmental pollution. He also introduced the bicycle and explained the key points of riding safely.

Next, Social Worker Nuray Karaman from the Kırşehir Green Crescent Counseling Center (YEDAM) introduced the organization's mission and activities. 

Afterward, cycling enthusiast Serkan Altuk shared how his life changed after he began cycling. Highlighting the health benefits he experienced, Altuk encouraged young people to take up cycling.

The "Pedal Safe into the Future Project" Introduction Seminar concluded with a Bicycle Riding Training session held at KAEU Stadium following the presentations.
