Before the ceremony, TEPDAD President Prof. Dr. İskender Sayek visited Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil in his office. During the visit, the quality and accreditation processes of  the university were discussed.

Following the visit, the ceremony started with the Faculty of Medicine Promotional Film. Afterwards, Vice Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. Ali Güneş delivered a speech. In his address, Güneş provided information about the establishment of the faculty and its activities. He noted that KAEU Faculty of Medicine started admitting students in 2016 and said, "With the enrollment of our first students in 2016, our faculty set its goal to graduate students equipped with professional knowledge and skills from an accredited medical faculty meeting national and international educational standards, and aimed for accreditation with its first graduates." Güneş also provided detailed information about the education and training activities at the Faculty of Medicine, continuing: "The Self-Evaluation Report (ISER) Commission, established with our first graduates, carefully documented all educational activities and data collected over six years. Following the report preparation, the on-site visit was carried out, and the process was completed. Finally, the long-anticipated Medicine Program Accreditation was achieved. Our journey towards quality accreditation, initiated with the slogan 'The Innovative University of Modern Türkiye,' continues with the motto 'Journey to Excellence Following the Path of Ahi-Order'." Offering further details on the accreditation process, Prof. Dr. Ali Güneş emphasized that this success was achieved through the efforts of young, hardworking academic and administrative staff who believe in quality, dedicated students, and the continuous support and guidance of Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil in striving for excellence. He concluded by expressing his gratitude to everyone who contributed to this important achievement and wished that the Accreditation Certificate would be beneficial for the university and the Faculty of Medicine.

Following Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Güneş, TEPDAD President Prof. Dr. İskender Sayek also delivered a speech. In his speech titled "The Future of Medical Education," Sayek first emphasized the importance of raising “good doctors and good human beings” in medical education. Stressing that medicine should be seen not merely as a job but as a duty and a profession, Prof. Dr. İskender Sayek highlighted the significance of continuous professional development in the medical field. At the end of his presentation, Sayek congratulated the KAEU Faculty of Medicine for its achievement and wished that the Accreditation Certificate would be beneficial for the university.

After the presentation, Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil took the floor, expressing his great happiness at the Faculty of Medicine receiving the Accreditation Certificate. Providing information about the establishment of the Faculty of Medicine and the accreditation application process, Rector Karahocagil noted that all staff had put in significant effort during the application phase. Continuing his speech with a quote by İsmet Özel — "One embarks on a journey with those who believe in it, not with those who have been convinced" — Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil emphasized that both staff and students completed the process with the firm belief that they would earn the Accreditation Certificate. He also stressed that obtaining an Accreditation Certificate is not an easy achievement. Giving detailed information about the university’s quality processes, Rector Karahocagil highlighted that Kırşehir Ahi Evran University was the first university to receive the Quality Assurance Certificate in Türkiye, successfully passing all stages of quality evaluations. "Quality is not a result, but a continuous process," he stated. Explaining that Kırşehir Ahi Evran University has become a role model for Turkish higher education in terms of quality, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil continued: "Our university’s outstanding achievements in quality assurance have been carried out by relying on the values of Ahi-Order under the motto ‘Journey to Excellence Following the Path of Ahi-Order.’ Integrating the values of Ahi-Order with modern quality management systems today offers a significant opportunity to establish a value-based, sustainable quality understanding. Institutionalized as a management and even governance philosophy unique to our civilization, the Ahi-Order organization was not only a professional guild but also an early ‘Value-Based Quality Movement.’"

Continuing his speech, Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil emphasized the importance of working in the right place, at the right time, and with the right people. He expressed his great satisfaction and pride in working in Kırşehir, the Capital of Ahi-Order, with the right people who believe in doing their jobs better at the right time. He affirmed that they would continue to work towards raising good doctors and good human beings. Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil extended his sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to receiving the Accreditation Certificate and wished that the certificate would bring success and prosperity to our university and the Faculty of Medicine. 

Following the speeches, the Head of the TAPDED Team, Prof. Dr. İskender Sayek, presented the Accreditation Certificate to Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil, and Vice Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Ali Güneş. Afterwards, certificates of appreciation were presented to the members of the Accreditation and Self-Evaluation Commission who contributed to the accreditation process. The ceremony concluded with a group photo session.
