A commemoration program was organized in Kırşehir for the 110th Anniversary of Çanakkale Naval Victory and Martyrs' Day. The ceremony occurred at Martyr Airforce Technical Sergeant Ahmet Tozluklu Martyrs' Cemetery on March 18, 2005. It was attended by Governor of Kırşehir Murat Sefa Demiryürek, Kırşehir DEputy Necmettin Erkan, Kırşehir Mayor Selahattin Ekicioğlu, Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil, and protocol. The program started with a moment of silence and reciting of the Turkish National Anthem, and continued with the recitation of the Quran.

During the program, Kırşehir Governor Murat Sefa Demiryürek, Kırşehir Member of Parliament Necmettin Erkan, Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil, and other protocol members had a conversation with the families of the martyrs. Later, the provincial protocol members recited prayers at the martyrs' graves and placed flowers on their tombs.

Commenting on the matter, Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil, expressed their deep respect and gratitude for the noble martyrs who sacrificed their lives without hesitation for their homeland, flag, and nation. He also stated that they proudly celebrated the 110th anniversary of the Çanakkale Victory.
