Faculty members of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University support the university's internationalization efforts by participating in various programs. In this context, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Koray Kırıkçı from the Department of Animal Science at the Faculty of Agriculture participated in educational activities at Samarkand State University from February 3 to 7, 2025.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Koray Kırıkçı delivered lectures on "Genetic Improvement and Reproduction in Farm Animals" to students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and the Department of Animal Science at Samarkand State University. He also exchanged ideas with faculty members regarding potential collaborative projects between the two universities. In addition to Dr. Kırıkçı, Asst. Prof. Dr. Özbek Karagül conducted preliminary field studies on investigating genes associated with key productive traits such as wool and skin quality in sheep breeds.

Contributing to the internationalization efforts of KAEU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Koray Kırıkçı from the Faculty of Agriculture gave an interview on Uzbekistan 24 channel about the planned projects between Kırşehir Ahi Evran University and Samarkand State University. These projects aim to identify the genetic structure of Uzbek sheep breeds and improve their productivity.
