Selçuk University hosts the Central Anatolia Career Fair-2025 (IKAF'25). The fair is organized within the scope of regional career fairs initiated in coordination with the Presidential Human Resources Office and has the theme "Talent is Everywhere". The opening of the fair took place at Konya Selçuklu Congress Center on February 20-21, 2025, and was attended by many universities, including Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, Abdullah Gül University, Aksaray University, Kapadokya University, Kayseri University, Kırıkkale University, Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University, Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University. Nuh Naci Yazgan University, Sivas Science and Technology University, and Cumhuriyet University.
An Event to Shape Students' Futures
Rector of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Musa Özata and Prof. Dr. Ali Güneş, Career Planning and Application Research Center Director Assoc. Dr. Emine Şener, Press and Public Relations Office staff members Lect. Mehmet Cemil Topal and Rıza Yıkıcı, along with many students from the university, participated in the highly anticipated IKAF 2025 event, which attracted significant attention from young people aiming for a promising future. Attending the fair's opening and visiting the booths, Rector Karahocagil stated that students would have the chance to engage in one-on-one meetings, discussions, and workshops, allowing them to explore new ideas and job opportunities. Emphasizing the fair's value in connecting with companies for internships and employment, he also underlined the importance of student participation in the Central Anatolia Regional Career Fair. He expressed satisfaction with the contributions of Kırşehir-based firms and institutions and wished for the event to be fruitful for both students and industry representatives.
Great Interest from Students and Companies at IKAF 2025
IKAF'2025 is expected to host over 25,000 participants and more than 300 institutions and companies, providing students and graduates with the opportunity to connect with leading businesses and explore new career prospects. The fair features presentations and training programs on CV preparation, interviews, interview techniques, and motivation. Around 25,000 students will engage with representatives from industry-leading companies, gaining access to valuable internship and job opportunities.
