As part of internationalization efforts, Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil, visited the Ambassador of Türkiye to Azerbaijan Birol Akgün. During the visit, which took place on February 17, 2025, consultations were held regarding educational collaborations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye.

Providing detailed information about Kırşehir Ahi Evran University's initiatives and collaborations, Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil emphasized the importance the university places on internationalization. Highlighting the need to maintain strong ties with Azerbaijan, Rector Karahocagil also extended his best wishes to Birol Akgün on his appointment as the Ambassador of Türkiye to Azerbaijan, wishing him success in his new role.
