The II. International Turkic World Young Academicians Congress began on February 10, 2025, in Uzbekistan. Supported by the Republic of Türkiye Directorate of Communications, this year’s congress was held under the theme "Building the Common Future." A total of 268 academics from 20 different countries and 120 institutions participated in the congress. The event supported by the Republic of Türkiye Directorate of Communications was also organized with the collaboration of TIKA, YTB, Yunus Emre Institute, Maarif Foundation, and Kırşehir Ahi Evran University. The congress, which will continue until February 15, 2025, covers topics such as education, economy, language and literature, joint alphabet studies, culture, international organizations, art, sports, communication, politics, international relations, theology, law, and history.

Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil, who places great importance on internationalization, met with young academics at the Congress Gala Dinner held in Tashkent. Highlighting the importance of scientific work and development, Rector Karahocagil emphasized that progress in the scientific field must come first to achieve economic development. He stated that unity and solidarity are essential for the strength of the Turkish World and expressed that this congress will further enhance the interaction and cooperation between Turkish States.
