Rektör Karahocagil Uluslararası Öğrencilerle Buluştu

Rector of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil met with international students studying at our university. The KAEU International Students Office organized the gathering event on December 26, 2024, at the Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin Hall of the Ahi Evran Congress and Culture Center. The event was attended by Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Musa Özata, academic and administrative staff, and students.

The opening speeches of the event were delivered by Abderrahmane Ajday, President of the Brother Countries Student Club, and Dr. Mazlum Ar, the club's advisor. Following the opening remarks, Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil expressed his great pleasure in being with international students at such an event. Rector Karahocagil stated his satisfaction that international students from the Turkic World chose Kırşehir Ahi Evran University for their education, emphasizing the historical brotherhood between Turkiye and the Turkic states worldwide. He noted that they would maintain constant communication with the students from the Turkic World and highlighted the importance of international students returning to their home countries as goodwill ambassadors after receiving the best education in Turkiye. He continued his speech by saying: “We are building a bridge of hearts with international students. The knowledge and experiences they gain here will be reflected in their home countries as they assume important positions and achieve significant accomplishments. This bridge of hearts, this brotherhood bridge, will further strengthen the ties between states and nations in the future.”

Continuing his speech, Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil touched upon the social transcript program implemented at the university and explained its benefits to the students. He emphasized the importance of students being actively involved in community contribution projects, social responsibility initiatives, and other activities. Rector Karahocagil highlighted that participating in such projects would help students develop themselves, enhance their skills, and leave a lasting positive mark on their social transcripts, benefiting their careers throughout their lives. Offering advice to the students, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil encouraged them to make the most of their university years by engaging in activities that contribute to their academic and personal development. He underlined the university's mission to graduate students who are highly skilled and specialized in their fields. "We see all of our students as our brothers and sisters, and we will provide them with the care and attention they deserve," he said, reaffirming the university's commitment to supporting its students in every possible way.
