Refreshment University, which is a social responsibility project organized in collaboration between Kırşehir Ahi Evran University and the Ministry of Family and Social Services, is excited about the finals. While classes at Refreshment University continue uninterrupted, 50 students actively participate in the lessons.

The classes offered at Refreshment University by our university's expert academics are based on a volunteer-driven approach. Additionally, each lesson is designed to be interactive, enhancing students' ability to express themselves within a group. The curriculum not only incorporates the expertise and knowledge of field specialists but also draws upon the life experiences and skills of students who are experts in their areas, fostering a collaborative learning environment. The Health Information course aims to help students take preventive measures against illnesses that may arise in old age or to manage existing chronic conditions more effectively. The Psychology course is designed to provide students with insights to promote emotional balance and tranquility. The Lifelong Learning course covers a wide range of topics, including biology, engineering, technology usage, and environmental issues, providing knowledge to help students adapt to a rapidly changing world. Following the well-attended lessons, students experienced the excitement of taking their final exams.

Refreshment University Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hilal Seki Öz highlighted the demographic transformation facilitated by Refreshment University, stating: “‘Refreshment University,’ which we describe as the renewal of a generation that has dedicated their lives to their children and grandchildren, enables the refreshment and social participation of this generation. This journey is a process of self-renewal for individuals. While they primarily listen to lectures, as they learn from us, we also learn from them. Indeed, we are the ones who benefit greatly from their experiences and expertise.”
