Esma Deniz, a second-year student in the Traditional Turkish Arts Department of the Neşet Ertaş Faculty of Fine Arts at Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, achieved second place in a competition.  Esma Deniz represented our university in the 17th Carpet Design Competition organized by the Istanbul Carpet Exporters' Association (İHİB) on December 25, 2024, at the Ömer Halis Demir Conference Hall in the Istanbul Foreign Trade Complex. She received the second-place prize of 70,000 TL, which was presented to her by İHİB Chairman Ahmet Hayri Diler.

KAEU Faculty of Fine Arts, which bears the name of Master Artist Neşet Ertaş, one of the most significant figures our city has produced, continues to create success stories in the field of art. Making comments on the matter, Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil emphasized the importance of our students participating in national and international competitions for the university. He congratulated our student Esma Deniz, who won the second place in the competition.
