A collaboration protocol in the field of health was signed between Kırşehir Ahi Evran University and International Health Services Incorporated Company (USHAŞ). The signing ceremony, held on November 27, 2024, at USHAŞ headquarters, was attended by Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil, USHAŞ General Manager Behlül Ünver, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Güneş, Secretary General Dr. Hüseyin İlter, and other USHAŞ officials.
The protocol aims to ensure the efficient utilization of the existing potential in health and medical sciences within the scope of health tourism and to foster mutual collaboration between the parties. It also encompasses various activities, including health tourism brokerage services, participation in health tourism fairs, congresses, and seminars,
Geothermal-based rehabilitation projects, traditional and complementary medicine practices, sports health research, application, and thermal rehabilitation services, consultancy for hospital and International Patient Center (IPC) management.
Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil, commenting on the protocol, emphasized that the university has been initiating projects and forming agreements to enhance Kırşehir’s potential in health tourism. He stated that this protocol would further strengthen the health infrastructure of both the university and the province, contributing to Kırşehir’s position as an attraction center for health tourism. Prof. Dr. Karahocagil concluded by expressing his hopes that the protocol would be beneficial for the university and the region.
