On November 27, 2024, Rector of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil, and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Şimşek, visited Yalova University to discuss collaboration and present the university’s Integrated Quality Management System (IQMS). During the visit, they met with Rector of Yalova University Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bahçekapılı, at his office for a brief discussion.

The rectors exchanged ideas on university projects and scientific studies, emphasizing the importance of mutual development. Following their meeting, they attended the IQMS Introduction Meeting, where Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil highlighted Kırşehir Ahi Evran University’s achievements in quality assurance efforts since 2016. He described how these efforts positioned the university as a role model in Turkish Higher education and noted that the IQMS software, a homegrown innovation, has received awards for its contribution to institutional efficiency.

After the Rector's address, Vice Rector and Quality Management Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Şimşek, delivered a detailed presentation on the features and benefits of IQMS. He explained how the system facilitates institutions in achieving their quality objectives through modules such as strategic planning, process management, risk management, improvement activities, and document management. Ekrem Öztürk, Deputy Quality Management Coordinator, also participated in the meeting.

The productive meeting concluded with Rector of Yalova University Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bahçekapılı, expressing his appreciation for the presentation. He thanked Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Şimşek, and the accompanying delegation for introducing IQMS and sharing their expertise.
