Field visits conducted by the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Teacher Education Programs (EPDAD) have begun for the Social Studies Teaching and Primary Mathematics Teaching programs at KAEU Faculty of Education. The visits started on November 21, 2024, with the EPDAD team first paying a visit to Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil in his office. The visit included the EPDAD Team Leader Prof. Dr. Rengin Zembat, team members Assoc. Prof. Dr. Memet Karakuş, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Feride Ersoy, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burcu Durmaz, Student Representative Beyza Nur Bal, Faculty of Education Dean Prof. Dr. Refik Balay, and Accreditation Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hamza Yakar.
During the meeting, Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil emphasized the significance of program accreditation and provided an overview of the university’s quality assurance activities, physical facilities, library resources, and the quality assurance system in education, as well as other opportunities offered to students.
Following the meeting, a commemorative photo was taken with the Rector Karahocagil and the EPDAD team. The field visits for the Social Studies Teaching and Primary Mathematics Teaching Programs will continue at the Faculty of Education on November 21-22, 2024.
