KAEU Quality Management Coordination Office organized a Quality Management System Training for newly recruited academic and administrative staff. The training took place on November 21, 2024, in Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin Hall at the Ahi Evran Congress and Culture Center. The event was attended by Vice Rector and Quality Management Coordinator Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Şimşek, Deputy Coordinator Ekrem Öztürk, Dr. Ömer Ertuğrul, Lecturer Ömür Çetinkaya, along with academic and administrative staff.

Following Öztürk, Vice Rector and Quality Management Coordinator Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Şimşek took the floor, addressing the progress of the university's quality journey. Prof. Dr. Şimşek underlined that quality initiatives are essential for the advancement of higher education in Turkiye, emphasizing that quality is not only a matter of institutional development but also vital for professional growth.
He shared the university’s guiding principle, inspired by Ahi Evran-ı Veli’s words: “Those who come to us with patience and truth is from us, and whoever surpasses us with wisdom and morality is beyond us.” Prof. Dr. Şimşek stated that Kırşehir Ahi Evran University’s motto in quality initiatives is “Journey to Excellence in the Footsteps of  Akhism.” Prof. Dr. Şimşek explained that the training aimed to instill a quality consciousness among staff and ensure it evolves into a lasting culture. Referring to the university’s approach to quality, he remarked, “Our present will be better than our past, and we will achieve this through quality.” He also highlighted the critical role of staff in achieving the university's quality goals.

After Prof. Dr. Şimşek’s speech, Lecturer Ömür Çetinkaya delivered a presentation on ISO Quality Standards, Dr. Ömer Ertuğrul spoke about the THEQC IAP Model, and Ekrem Öztürk concluded with a session on the Integrated Quality Management System (IQMS).
