A seminar titled "Lack Of Self-confidence in Youth and Ways to Deal with Exam Anxiety" was organized by the KAEU Career Planning, Application, and Research Center in collaboration with the Economy and Management Student Society. Held on November 19, 2024, in the Faculty of Education's Conference Hall, the seminar was given by Prof. Dr. Süleyman Doğan from Yıldız Technical University. The conference, which was largely attended, was attended by Vice Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Musa Özata, Dean of the Faculty of Education Prof. Dr. Refik Balay, Director of the Career Planning, Application, and Research Center Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emine Şener, Advisor of the Economy and Management Student Society Prof. Dr. Oktay Kızılkaya, as well as academic and administrative staff and students.

Prof. Dr. Süleyman Doğan suggested young participants several ways to overcome exam anxiety and boost self-confidence and expressed that anyone who believes in themselves has the potential to lead the world. Stressing the importance of self-awareness, he highlighted that being at peace with oneself and one’s body paves the way to success. “If a person knows themselves, they can bring out their strengths,” he remarked. Explaining the two main causes of exam anxiety among youth, Prof. Dr. Süleyman Doğan identified them as a lack of self-confidence and a lack of knowledge. He concluded his speech by advising students that planned study habits and setting clear goals are key factors in overcoming exam-related fears.

At the end of the conference, Vice Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Musa Özata presented a certificate of appreciation to Prof. Dr. Süleyman Doğan.

Following the event, Prof. Dr. Süleyman Doğan and accompanying guests visited the Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil in his office, where they had a brief conversation.
