Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, home to the largest library in the region, has signed an agreement with ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global, one of the international database platforms. Under the agreement reached on August 9, 2024, the graduate theses produced within our university have started to be included in ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global, the world’s most comprehensive thesis database. Among the 1,512 full-text theses from our university, 100 have been processed, with 500 scheduled for transfer by November, and all are expected to be completed in the first half of 2025. Through these efforts, our university’s theses will be indexed on the Web of Science ProQuest™ Dissertations & Theses Citation Index, managed under Clarivate. This project, conducted through the efforts of the Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Directorate of  Library and Documentation, is facilitated by the KAEU Institutional Academic Archive (https://openaccess.ahievran.edu.tr/xmlui/) system, through which the transfer of graduate theses in the system is being carried out.




Ensuring that these affiliated with Kırşehir Ahi Evran University are searchable and accessible worldwide will allow more scientists and researchers to discover our university’s theses. This initiative is also aimed at increasing our university's visibility and recognition on international academic platforms.
